Located just off Interstate 64 near Fishersville, the Fishersville Quarry offers a convenient and comfortable dive opportunity for many Shenandoah Valley and Central Virginia dive enthusiasts. The quarry is a slate quarry and has a max depth of about 90 feet.   There is ample area for open water training above 30 feet and there are several platforms, boats and other submerged artifacts.  Visibility averages from 15 to 40 feet depending on the time of year and the number of divers using the quarry.

Access to the quarry is controlled by Kathy's Scuba, Inc. and Associates and it member dive shops and independent instructors.  No one is allowed in the quarry without being accompanied by an insured divemaster or instructor associated with the members.
